This deadbolt is bump key proof and pick resistnace heavy duty grade 1. Schlage primus high security cylinder provides double locking system. These "dual-locking" cylinders consit of two independent locking mechanisms operated by a single, specially designed Primus key. In addition to a standard 6-pin mechanism there is a locking sidebar which is independently controlled by a set of five finger pins that interface with the side bitting on the patented Primus key. Each finger pin must lifted and swiveled to the right orientation.
Also, Primus key is to protect against unauthorized duplication. The key blanks are distributed through select locksmiths who are assigned unique ID number. End users are issued an I.D card which must be presented to us to obtain additional keys.
