This knob lockset is bump key proof and pick resistant. Schlage primus high security cylinder provides double locking system. These "dual-locking" cylinders consit of two independent locking mechanisms operated by a single, specially designed Primus key. In addition to a standard 6-pin mechanism there is a locking sidebar which is independently controlled by a set of five finger pins that interface with the side bitting on the patented Primus key. Each finger pin must lifted and swiveled to the right orientation.
Also, Primus key is to protect against unauthorized duplication. The key blanks are distributed throught select locksmiths who are assigned unique ID number. End users are issued an I.D card which must be presented to us to obtain additional keys.
Schlage lock A series hardware is a heavy duty residential and medium duty commercial lockset. This lock can be installed on doors from 1-3/8" - 1-7/8" thick.

Classroom Lock -A70PD
The outside knob is locked or unlocked by key. When unlocked the lockset works as a passage set. When the lock is locked, you must use a key from outside to unlock the lockset. The inside knob is always unlocked
Entrance Lock -A53PD Most popular function
Turn/push button locking; Pushing and turning button locks outside knob, requiring use of a key until button is manually unlocked.
Push-button locking; Pushing button locks outside knob until unlocked by key or by turning inside knob.
Storeroom Lock -A80PD
Outside knob is fixed, entrance by key only. Every time the door closes this unit will lock, it cannot be left unlocked. The inside knob is always unlocked.
